A NEW MILLENNIA!
THE YEAR OF THE DRAGON!

San Jose, CA -- Lee and Lee Communications announced today the release of a CD-ROM designed to unearth the ritual, historical, and visually arresting role of the Dragon in Chinese Art to coincide with the year 2000, the Year of the Dragon on the Chinese Calendar.

As a religious symbol, imperial emblem, and totem of the people, images of dragons occupied a central place in Chinese culture. The CD-ROM, The Dragon in Chinese Art allows viewers to discover how this mythical beast sparked stirring realities. 126 classic antiquities tours of the ten types of dragons, an interactive time line and introduction allow for hours of immersion.

"For many Westerners, the dragon is only a fierce monster, confined to fairy tales and fantasy novels," said Ann Lee of Lee & Lee, "The Dragon in Chinese Art is an opportunity for people to explore the many meanings of the dragon in Asian culture."

Lee & Lee is the sole licensee of the images in the National Palace Museum and several Mainland China Museums. The Dragon in Chinese Art is volume 3 in their "Treasure the Treasures" series. Future CD-ROM's are slated to explore the role of women in Chinese history, Calligraphy, and images of Buddha, among other topics The Dragon in Chinese Art is available now at major software outlets, major museums and www.culturalcafe.com for a suggested retail price of $49.99.
